Abstract
The paper attempts to define multiculturalism and deals with emerging trend of different ideologies of multiculturalism. Multiculturalism can’t be context only in the homogeny group of any nation even it extend to mix multiple heterogenic ethnic groups such as aboriginal ethnic group and immigrated ethnic groups. It promotes to maintain the distinctiveness of multiple cultures. Multicultural policy has developed two diverge expeditions. One hand, it moves in the crucial role of cultural assimilation so it may digress the cultural heritage of any ethnical society. On the other hand, it should not create conflicts among congenial atmosphere in ethnical society when it gels with other ethnical groups.
