Abstract
In this article the researcher has tried to show the historical richness of Bidar district. Bidar district is a different district in the north of Karnataka state. The district has different languages, religions, social, environment, traditions and culture. It seems that diversity in unity. In this district we can see the monuments, inscriptions, heroistic stones, mahasati and nishedi stones. And district has a different types of forts among all the forts Bidar fort has three kandakas which has the only fort has three kandakas. In the district we can see different religions temples and many social reformers visited and stood like Basaveshwara and Gurunanak. The district has very good soil which is useful for making bidri work.
